It is a rare occurrence for me to work on a Sunday, but this week, my employer is taking a quick trip to Maine and asked me to work from 8:30 am Sunday until 6 pm on Monday evening. I was happy to help her out since, except for my summer schedule at camp, this is the first Sunday that my employer has asked me to work.

Today I asked my employer if she minded if I took the children to church with me on Sunday and she was very happy to agree to that! She was very encouraging so I am really looking forward to taking the kids with me this Sunday to the 11:15 am service, where I play the piano!

My charges (girls - ages 5 and 6 and a little boy - age 2.5 years) have attended various church suppers with me in the past and have even assisted at my church by helping to sharpen all the pew pencils!

It will be fun to take these three wonderful children to the 11:15 a.m. worship service with me this Sunday! (And there IS a nursury if we need it!)

We are all looking forward to this Sunday AND to the annual Spaghetti Supper at Calvary Baptist next Saturday night!
