Regardless if a nation or people are “Christian” or not, there is still a great need for prayer. I know my prayers are reaching the throne of heaven, but I also wonder how my, often times 'pathetic' prayers will even make a difference in God’s kingdom, considering the magnitude of the problems!
Because I feel a bit ‘snowed under’ as I pray today, I am asking God that I NOT become discouraged as I continue the challenge to pray for the world.
“Oh Lord, open my eyes to see the great need for prayer for the world, but keep me faithful and diligent, not losing ‘heart’, as I pray for Your will to be carried out in specific nations of our world. Your Kingdom is what counts and I pray that I would be renewed to have a compassionate heart and empowered by Your Spirit to be diligent, strong and bold as I faithfully pray for the people of every nation and tribe! May I not grow weary in well doing today.” Amen.

Today I pray for Kenya and though the country is 78.64% “Christian”, there are many, many areas of concern.
